Akela 2014
400 Cub Scout and Guide Leaders from 24 nations met together from the 2-6 August 2014 in Westernohe for the international camp AKELA 2014.
The gathering took place under the title of „Akela“, the chief wolf of the Jungle Book, and was invited by the German Scout and Guide associations (rdp).
The cub scout and guide leaders met in the DPSG Bundeszentrum Westernohe to explore the pedagogy of the cub scout age section as well as Scouting and Guiding all over the world. The international camp enables the participants also to make new friends and to explore Germany during home hospitality.
